Accountant

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and managing the financial records of the company
  • Preparing financial statements, reports, and budgets
  • Overseeing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections
  • Monitoring and reconciling bank statements, credit cards, and general ledgers
  • Managing payroll, tax filings, and employee benefits
  • Conducting audits and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial analyses and forecasts
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure financial data accuracy and consistency

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree or higher in accounting, finance, or related field
  • CPA certification preferred
  • Experience in accounting or finance
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Managerial Accountant

Job Description:

  • Examine client bookkeeping records (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and financial statements to identify trends, cost drivers, opportunities, and areas of concern.
  • Prepare clear financial reports and performance insights to support executive and client decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain client-specific budget models and cash flow forecasts.
  • Conduct scenario-based financial modeling to help clients anticipate upcoming needs and optimize resource allocation.
  • Provide corporate tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Inform clients of regulatory changes affecting their businesses and ensure compliance with periodic reporting requirements.
  • Review financial processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements for accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Strengthen internal controls and support best practices in bookkeeping, payroll, and financial reporting.
  • Assist clients with company formation, registration, and licensing, including preparation and submission of Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) reports.
  • Communicate with clients to gather necessary financial data, answer tax-related questions, and provide guidance on accounting and compliance matters.
  • Research federal and state tax issues, including available tax credits, deductions, and incentives, and prepare written summaries for internal and client use.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2 years of full-time work experience in accounting.
  • Deep understanding of GAAP and financial analysis.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytic skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Spreadsheet modeling.
